Title: My MC 18 license doesn't install SOLVED
Post by: Urbanito on November 25, 2012, 01:23:33 pm
I have a registration key for MC 18.
I downloaded and installed it, without any problems.
When I search for registration information, I receive a message saying that it is not registered.
However under Help I went to "Install License" and, in MC I entered my MC18 key and then I pressed restore.
I have done this twice, but my MC is not yet registered. Going twice to Restore, without result, I fear to have already spent to licenses.
Please help me to solve this issue.

Hi Jim:
I followed the instructions on the link, but the problem subsists.
I already spent another license but Key doesn't install.
What may be happening?

Best regards

Joao

Is that possible to be an Acrobat reader?
When I restore a license, the Acodat reader 11 opens and says that it dont recognize MC.

probably a browser problem.  The extension should be .mjr .

The extension appears .mjr
How do I convert it on .mjr.  ? I don't know how to proceed. I use Internet Explorer and have no other installed.
Thanks a lot.

Hello again:
If I receive an extension (.mjr), instead of one (.mjr.), isn't this a JRiver problem?

Hi Jim:
I installed and used Mozila, but the results are the same: just lost another 2 licenses.
I hope that you give me them back.

If you're restoring, it should be done.

Are you confusing the versions?  You have two installed now.  The license must match the version.

Use Internet Explorer to restore.  Follow the instructions I linked to above.

Hi Jim:
I am not cofusing the two versions. It is MC 18.
What shall I do? Go back to MC17?

Hi:
It is solved. The problem was that the extension was trying to open with Acrobat Reader an It didn't recognise .mjr files. I asked locally for support and now it opens differently.
The Key was installed.
Now, Jim. Could you give me back all the licenses lost?

Best regards
