Title: Windows 8 from Vista and retaining JRiver MC17

Hi guys,

will the Windows upgrade retain JRiver MC17? Are there any technical issues?

You'll have to install the latest build again after you upgrade (over the top like any point upgrade), but otherwise it should be fine.

(p.s. I'm personally a believer in starting clean instead of upgrading an OS.  It's like how an occasional prairie fire is good for the ecosystem.)

Nothing like a minty fresh clean install. Plus the knowledge knowing that none of the crap from before is lurking around - waiting to pounce :)
