Title: New feature suggestion (upgrades should keep resource.xml)
Post by: bannonb on November 29, 2012, 03:42:45 pm
I just installed MC18.

I tried to do esc-esc key sequence to cancel a video and stop playback.  It didn't work...I remembered I made a change to some file in MC17 to accomplish that.  There is a help topic on it (User defined keyboard shortcuts):

I would suggest that as part of upgrade settings, keep the resource.xml which may or may not be customized.

Thanks

Put your customized version in 'Custom Resources' instead of 'Default Resources' (make the folder) and it will remain through installs.

Ah, missed that and put it into default resources.

Simple.

Thanks...
