My system hangs when using pause/play, it hangs and I have to disconnect and reconnect the jriver. I've unistalled the JRiver and reinstall but the problem continues.
Any Help?

Please try 'WASAPI - Event Style' in Options > Audio.

I'd noticed this issue very occasional, primarily because I virtually never use pause.
I tried it tonight and got the Windows notice that the program has stopped responding.
I've been using Kernel Streaming to a W4SDAC2 for a couple years now.
Just switched over the WASAPI Event Style and pause works.
Just to quiet my loony audiophile inklings, I couldn't tell any difference in sound between Kernel Streaming and WASAPI Event.
Others seem to suggest WASAPI sounds worse. So just to confirm, WASAPI Event Style should be Identical in sound quality to Kernel Streaming.
(Win7 64 using Asynchronous USB to W4S DAC2, MC 16, 17 and now 18 in Theater view, Flac Audio playback only)

My version of mediacentre 18 behaves not good the music plays but when you hit the pause button
the program freezes and give not a fault.
you must restart mediacentre and everything goes good until someone hits the pause button.
is this a bug in the program?.
Is there coming an update for this?

I don't know the reason, but try using stop instead of pause.
