Title: Profile photo instead of stock avatar

I want to post a photo in my profile and can not figure out how to move it from Picasa into my profile.  The "search" function found two post that were not helpful.  Thanks for any help for the sometimes clueless.

You simply need to have the picture hosted on some picture sharing website, and then need to place the picture's URL in the URL section for your avatar in your profile in the forum.

Well, I opened a Flickr account and uploaded the photo - copied the url and pasted in the box:

Profile responded with a red X mark.

I'm stumped again....

Does the Forum require a minimum number of posts before allowing photos?

It's the size that's a problem.  The limit is something like 100x100 or 150x150.
