Title: Set up for multi HTPCs with central storage comp/server

Should I just install MC18 to all the computers and run them as clients?  What is the benefit to running in server mode?  Is there a way to have a master program from which all the other MC18 programs sync to?

Try turning on Media Network on your server, then connecting to it from another PC.  The wiki explains this.  Start at the topic called "Media Network".
