Which service would you consider best and which one works best with MC18?
Pros and cons of one over the other?
I'm mostly interested in TV Shows, an occasional movie and HD only.
Thanks.

Netflix, by a wide margin.
Better selection, no commercials. Did I mention no commercials?

Thanks.
I created a trial account but I have no sound.

Nevermind, it uses the default audio device I had that set to the wrong output.
I'm not sure I like it but I'll give it a couple of days. Looks like I'm missing a lot.

If I recall it also doesn't use any of MC's Audio DSP. That eliminated it for us which was a big disappointment.

Yeh I don't think I'll be getting a subscription. I'm the missing latest seasons on several shows, lots of movies missing and HD quality seems less than a good dvd and audio is stereo only.

Both are equally best Pros and cons

With the WDM driver you can solve that now; let me know if you need setup advice as it's a little tricky.

The thing to realize is that Netflix and Hulu's business models are completely different. Netflix only has TV series available once they hit DVD (or shortly before); so you only see seasons of a show 8 or 9 months after it's done at the earliest. it's not a good way to catch up on current or even recent television. Hulu is primarily for current or recent television, but has a very limited back catalog of older episodes. The two services are complementary and don't even mostly overlap.
I don't really care about watching things when they come out and I hate ads, so netflix works for me. It doesn't have close to perfect coverage, but it has enough stuff I'd never think of buying but still want to watch

season 3 of Last man standing was available on Netflix 2 or 3 weeks after season 4 started on ABC.
