hi guys!my first post here:)
the zone switch is amazing, but im wondering if it can auto switch to another zone when i start loopback, coz if i use convolution when loopbacking, the sound claps a lot, tried different buffers etc, still claps...so it will be perfect if zone switch can auto detect loopback and changento the zone without concolution.
anyone got any ideas?thanks!

You might try the latest MC18 from the top of this board.
It has a new latency management algorithm during loopback that should work better with convolution.

hi Matt,
yes im using the newest version but still...so is there a way to make loopback as a file so i can put a right tag on and make it zone switched? or can i do something else then?
thanks for replying!

This was a good excuse to test ZoneSwitch. I found a little issue that kept it from working, but it'll be fixed next build (hopefully available tomorrow).
Once you have the new build, try this:
1) Add a zone called 'Loopback'
2) Use ZoneSwitch (Player > Zones > ZoneSwitch...) to add this rule:
Name: Loopback
Search: [Filename]=[live:////loopback]
Play in zone: Loopback
Now, when you play Loopback using File > Open Live..., it'll always go to the Loopback zone.
If you want other playback to stop, just pick the stop zones in the loopback rule.

I'm also not having much luck with convolution and loopback with the latest build. Like the OP, I'm using a workaround with a different zone set to be able to still use loopback.

Maybe you could start a build and describe your setup so we could dig deeper?
