Title: Tags in Foreign Language?

Downloaded MC18 to test and ripped a half dozen CD's using windows media player to wave files.  When I imported the files to MC18 all the tag data, artist name, album name and song name is in Japanese/Chinese/Korean.  Does any one have any Idea what happened, why isn't all the Tag info in English.  My language setting is to English

Safe to assume that the tracks are from English CDs and not Asian language CDs? Stupid question, I know, but might explain it if JRiver does a look up on the same files.

Yes as asked they are US CD's - not even UK imports.  Other data is that I installed the latest .090 MC18.
