Is there a way to swith auto import off??

Yes there most certainly is.  Settings - Options - General - Uncheck that pesky "Automatically import files into media library" button and your troubles are over my friend.

you must be talking about Auto Import From The Download Manager?

I wonder what renaming the MediaJukebox.exe would do. (temp)

Me three...I hate the new DM auto import feature...seems like a DM option for this would have been more appropriate (than ramming it down the user's throat with no choice).

HINT:  You can restore a prior version of Download Manager.exe and get back the functionality you liked before...I went back two versions to v1.0.97 of DM (from build 239)...because it was easy to get (off another PC).

Auto import feature in DM will be optional in next build of MJ.
