Title: How do I save or print out in MC18
Post by: JazzDoc on December 15, 2012, 05:31:47 am
I am running JRMC18. My albums are stored on three external USB drives. Is there a way that I can save my entire library as a text file or Word document?

Thanks

Create a PANES viewscheme that displays only the fields you want to display.
ctrl-a
ctrl-c

Open Word
ctrl-v

Also it's likely you'll need to use the nodup modifier in some way to get the resulting list to look like what you want, since I'm guessing you don't want each song printed, but rather each artist or each album title.

Here's one I use to export a list of artists in my collection

Code: [Select]
[Media Type]=[Audio] -[Genre]=[Podcast] ~sort=[Album Artist (auto)] ~nodup=[Album Artist /(auto/)]

Open Word
ctrl-v

Works even better in Excel.
