Title: Media Center only partially redrawing Window.
Post by: sskings on December 16, 2012, 03:43:26 pm
Check out the enclosure for an example of what I'm seeing increasingly often.  After a while with the system on and Media Center running, it starts drawing its window with BIG pieces missing.  You can see the website in a window behind. Drop down lists  appear upon clicking in the correct area.  Media Center thinks its the program in the front most window.

This behavior seems to correct itself only on restart.  I'm running Windows 7 64 bit.

Ideas?

Please try the 'Noire' skin (no glass) and let us know if the problem continues.

Thanks.

I'm sorry but I'm not sure.  This is the only report of this I've seen.

It would be worth trying the latest (18.0.94) since there was one window visibility bug which got fixed.

I've seen something similar to this, only when using split views, and only with the PVD Import plugin loaded (hence the reason I never reported it).

If you turn off split views, does the issue correct itself?

Noire is the skin that has the checkmark.  As you can see, I do have split views.  I updated to 94 and will report back if trouble.  Thanks for help.  Steve

Not sure if this is relevant but I'll mention in it anyway! Can't remember seeing this happen with MC as yet but I've recently bought a new PC with Windows 7 64-bit (previously had XP Home), and our work PCs have just been upgraded to Windows 7 64-bit too (previously XP Pro). On both these PCs, I am now seeing redrawing and refreshing problems very often in Firefox, and I'm sure it's happened occasionally in other programs too.
