Title: Xbox 360 transcoder questions

I'm really interested in trying the MC and I think I have answered most of my own questions from searching around. What I haven't seen though is the quality that MC will stream to the xbox? I have TVersity setup right now and it will play my .mkv bluray rips OK but the picture quality is so-so and it outputs at 720p. The audio is all down converted to 2ch. I am new to the xbox so these may be limitations of the unit but if MC will get me better quality I will install it this afternoon for sure.
