HEEEELLP!!! During an update of some mp3 tags, mediajukebox suddenly closed and the following error message appeared,"Media jukebox has caused an error in MFC42.DLL," I tried to resolve it by uninstall/reinstall but the problem remains. Could someone lend me some expertise on how to fix this problem?

I have rebooted the computer several times since the initial occurence of this problem. Uninstall/Reinstall doesn't clear the problem either.

I take it your running windows 98?
and MJ 7.2?
did you try Media Jukebox 8.0.248?
i remember reading that they are not using the microsoft MFC42.dll in the newer versions of MJ8 due to problems with windows 98 and this dll crashing to much.

Thanks for the assistance. Unfortunately, I'm not running Windows 98 but Windows ME. The problem occured while I was updating some tags on my computer when the problem occured. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall. As for Media Jukebox Version 8, I initially tried that version and Windows ME doesn't seem to work well with with Version 8. I don't want to try a new version until I definitely can't resolve this as it could bring on more problems.
