Title: de-interlacing by JRiver MC18
Post by: mingojj on December 20, 2012, 04:30:53 pm
Matt:  In a post in early 2012 you indicate that de-interlacing is automatic with MC17-18.  When the underlying file is a m2ts file ripped by MC18 using anydvd hd the resulting file, when played back through a Classe ss-800 pre/pro (which does no video processing despite its name) shows 1080i not 1080p.  The same pre/pro shows 1080p when a universal player that does de-interlacing sends it a signal playing the same disc.  Is there something that needs to be toggled on MC18 to make it de-interlace a blu-ray file ripped either by makemkv or via anydvd hd?  Or is there some add-on that we need to install?  thanks.  John
