Title: Why every time I select a playlist It starts playing the same song?
Post by: trcns on December 22, 2012, 11:06:28 am
If I move from one playlist to other it starts from the same song, How can make either play from where the program left that playlist or make reshuffle instead of starting over from the same list?

Playlists are ordered lists.  When you playback a playlist, it will always start with the first track.

Do any of the following:

  - Shuffle the playlist and then Play
  - Enable shuffle mode in MC, and then Play the playlist
  - Create a Smartlist setting the rules for file display to to include the playlist and the modifier to Shuffle and start the Smartlist instead of the playlist.

F9 will create a new Smartlist.

Give it a Name.

Click Add New Rule and select/create the rule:

Playlists is any <your playlist name>

Under Modify Results, select Shuffle, and then click OK.  The Smartlist is now ready.

I lied.  There's yet another way to start the playlist shuffled:

Select the playlist, right-click it and select Play > More Play Options > Play (shuffled)
