Title: Backspace doesn't take me 'back' in Theater View [solved]
Post by: hoyt on December 23, 2012, 03:29:53 pm
Running MC17 and MC18 side by side on my HTPC.  I have a bluetooth mediapad that I use as my remote.  It has the four arrows, enter and a back button.  On MC17, the back button uses the back command in theater view.  So if I'm watching TV, I hit the back button and it goes back to the guide.  If I'm browsing in the trees in theater view, it has the same affect as going up, then left to highlight the word 'back.'

Any thoughts?  Thanks!

I'm 0 for 2 today...  Like the other thread that I started today, I used the back button out of habit and noticed that it worked.  I also noticed the volume control on the mediapad worked today for the first time ever.  So perhaps it was related to that...

Thanks!

I marked this as 'solved'.  If I'm misunderstanding and you believe there's still an issue, please explain in a little more detail.

Thanks.

Hey Matt,

Yes, I believe this is resolved.  I had some issues with the bluetooth drivers that when I was hibernating and re-waking up the PC weren't loading right.  That makes sense as to why this started working yesterday because it was the first time I had restarted (vs waking up) in a while.  If this isn't resolved, I've at least identified that it's an issue with the bluetooth device itself, not MC.

Thanks!
