Title: Theater View doesn't show Television option

Hi,

I refer to this thread and add>external program in Theatre View options and including the parametsrs "/mcc 30002, 1" to get Live TV playing directly from theater view.

However, this method adds the option "Live TV' to my Theatre view but pressing OK does not call the parameters in fact it does nothing. This was written for MC17 would there be any difference for MC18?

i dont use television, but the first thing i would try is to take the space away.

/mcc 30002,1

Hi

Just bumping this as I cant understand why these parameters wont call the tv function. And there doesnt seem to be any other way to use the tv tuners from within theatre view. I can call the tv up from standard view but that seems pointless. I am trying to get rid of using a mouse.


Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The standard way to access Live TV in Theater View is from Video > Guide.

We'll try to reproduce the /MCC issue next week and follow-up then.

My guess is that channel 1 is not found.  You can view the channel numbers by editing the channel list in Standard View > Television > TV Options... > Edit Channel List.

To make it easier to know, next build:
Changed: When using MCC_PLAY_TV (30002), an error message is shown when the channel specified is not found (previously it would fail silently).

Thanks this fixed it! The problem was I didn't have any channel numbers recorded against any channels.
