Title: WASAPI Event Style on AMD Radeon HDMI?
Post by: mykillk on January 01, 2013, 11:37:20 pm
Anyone know if an embedded AMD Radeon CPU/GPU can do WASAPI Event Style? The indications I see on the net is that AMD HDMI works with WASAPI Event Style, but I can't get it to work. It's not a bit depth issue because regular WASAPI works fine. I'm using the Realtek ATI HDMI Drivers on Windows 7 x64.

Any help or info would be appreciated.

Regards,
Mike

I'm using AMD HDMI from an ATI HD6750 card.
Audio and video work fine through it using Wasapi Event Style
Took some tweaking in the DSP settings for output format.

Well I figured it out

The Realtek AMD HDMI drivers break the WASAPI Event Style support. Using the regular AMD HDMI Drivers that come with the graphics driver works though.
