Hi,
Two albums that have the same name but different artist and different import date are grouped together as if they are all part of the same album. Applies to the Recent view of Music. Theater View only.
Any suggestions how to separate them?
Thanks.

Modify the Audio > Recent view in Options > Theater View.
Instead of just using Album as the category, perhaps change it to Album Artist - Album, or use an expression to provide the grouping you want.

In 'Set rules for file display' it would be great if there was a Modification called "Separate Albums BY".
Then the user could choose to separate by artist, filename(path), etc.
This would be useful for me because i have a lot of duplicate audio albums due to
re-releases, multiple file formats, and different family members with the same album in the library.
This would also be useful when viewing videos using album thumbnails in pane view.
ie. TV series discs ripped to hardisc folder.

Categories are the general grouping (or "Separate xxx by"). But this means you have to change the stock category to one that provides the clustering you want.
If instead of an Album category, you use [Album] - [Album Artist (auto)], or [Album] [Release], then you'll get that grouping.
The same idea applies to the Group By grouping in a files list.

I suppose my idea applies mostly to panes with album thumbnails.
