Title: Burning DVD Audio disk at 196/24
Post by: chrisnick66 on January 06, 2013, 02:34:42 am

Does JRiver offer any DVD authoring software?

I'm trying the trial version of HD Audio Solo to burn DVD Audio disks.

I've downloaded both 96/24, and 196/24 tracks from HDtracks.com.

When I import the 96/24 tracks into HD-Audio, I can play them in HD-Audio, and burn to a DVD-Audio disk that plays fine on my Denon DBP-1611UD player.

However, when I import the 196/24 files, when I press play in HD Audio, it acts as if it's playing, but there is no sound.  And when I burn the DVD-Audio disk, and play on my Denon player, it acts as if it's playing, but there is no sound.   I've also tried downsampling to 96/24, and burning, and have the same problem.

I can play the 196/24 on JRiver, but would also like to be able to burn to DVD Audio so I can play on my Denon player.

Thank you in advance for any ideas or suggestions you may have.

Chris

Hi !

First, I should point out that it is "192" not "196" (2x96=192 so twice the rate).

Second, why do you want to play the files in your Denon player rather than directly from JRiver MC18 ?

Third, the free program Imgburn will burn an image file that is an image of a DVD-Audio disk, but it does not have the capability to make a DVD-Audio image.
