Title: Things to consider before uninstalling older versions of MC?

I recently installed MC18. I still have MC16 and MC17 on my computer as well. Can I simply uninstall these without messing up my libraries etc, or are there some special precautions I should take?

Back up your library from MC18 and then uninstall the others.
