the last three days,I believe after the update jriver wont close without hanging. closing from audio.

it seems that when I want to import into the library it hangs, when I go to the file with windows explrer and add files to the library but in parts "one third of the total" everything works fine. it is when I want to import all of the files in major file is when it hangs. there are 90,000 in total.

So why not let MC continue and see if it quits on its own?

mc hangs at 2 files 0f 10839 it stays so until I want to close mc which I have to do by forcing with windows

I have unistalled "registry only"the program and reinstalled it . it didnt help. the mc keeps hanging when it wants to import files.

after reinstal and restart of windows 7, it seems to be working without hanging for the moment. can it be nescessary to uninstall completely?

Almost never, but sometimes it is worth a shot if you're having trouble.
If so, do this:
Uninstall.
Reboot.
Reinstall.
Don't skip the reboot step!
My guess, in this particular case, is that some process had file #2 locked, and MC was waiting for the lock to be released. When Windows says a program is unresponsive, it doesn't necessarily mean it is crashed. It just means it is non-responsive. This can mean it is waiting for something in the main thread (or all the threads are locked waiting for whatever needs to happen). When MC reads/writes file metadata, it does seem to lock the main thread, so if you have a very slow disk, or files on a disk that are locked by another process, it can "look like" MC is hanged for a LONG time.
If you wait long enough, MC throws an error eventually and "unsticks", though this probably doesn't apply to the "applying tags" thing that happens after you close the main application.

there are two options given when uninstalling one is registry only and the other is everything, which one should I use?

problem solved, restart before reinstall did the trick.
