Okay, so I've created the room measurements, had to get a mic preamp and got lucky working two USB devices, one for mic input, the other for output to my DAC. But now I have to get the VST plugin to work on JRiver. I'm using JRiver MC 16 version 16.0.181. I'm pretty lost at this point. I feel like there is some software I'm missing. I was told JRiver supports VST plugins but again, i'm lost!

I would recommend MC18 for advanced VST work.
You add the VST plugin using the 'Manage Plug-ins' button on the lower left of DSP Studio.

Thanks Matt. I did that, the file is a dll, but nothing happens. I'm expecting some sort of interface to appear. Is there somewhere I go to activate the plugin?

I'm sorry, but I don't know what's happening.
When you add a plug-in, it should appear in the list.
Make sure you're adding the right DLL. It'll need to be 32-bit (I'm not sure if there are 64-bit versions).
You might also look at AudioLense or Acourate for convolution based correction that dove-tails nicely with MC.

I got it to work! After adding the plugin I then went to tools, options, and then DSP - which is on the pop up menu, where you select output format, and you can check a box for the plugin, in this case it's called ARC 2. Now the ARC interface appears and the room curves, etc., can be selected.
