Title: Edit Stock Library Fields

I need to make use of additional Media Sub Types.  I want to add to the list of "Acceptable Values". 

MC18 will not allow me to edit any stock library fields. 
Is this by design? 
If so, how do I "copy" a stock library field including all of it's existing parameters in order to make a custom field for my use?

No can do.  You can create your own field, and use it.  Values for some built in fields such as [Media Sub Type] trigger certain behavior in MC.

You can use expressions to test your value against emptiness, and if empty, use the stock field.
