the bug with recording the correct tv channel using ts can't be corrected and
apparently the bug has been there since mc17, if i've read correctly

i am glad i found that out before i wasted my money in the upgrade

I am using NPVR and it works flawlessly

the bottom line is that i am truly disappointed in this support that you have
for mc, it's been 5 days since i posted the problem with only 1 reply that
have nothing much to say

I am sorry, I must have missed your original post. 

There is indeed an existing bug.  I have not been able to put much effort into fixing because there is an design issue that is a bit complicated.  Eventually it will be fixed.  In the mean time, the best solution is to use JTV file for TV recording. You can use our format conversion tool to convert to other formats if you really need to play the recordings outside of MC.
