Recently upgraded my PC from Win 7 32 bit with 2 500 GB HDDs to Win 8 64 bit with a SSD (OCZ Vertex 4 256 GB) though music is all stored on an internal 1 TB HDD (which is set up as a storage space in Win 8 along with an external Samsung story 2 TB hard disc).
Since then I suffer what I would call a stutter same half second or so of music played 5 or 6 times (time and number of repeats are guesses) then all continues as normal - often seems to happen about a minute or so into a track.
Anyone any ideas which of the changes may be responsible and how to fix it.
