Title: Big Troubles - Lost Everything - Need Help!

I cannot restore my library!

I downnloaded the 8.0.239 version, BACKED UP my 7.2.280, then installed the new 8.0.239.  I could not restore the library I had saved onto the new version.  It crashed.  When I clicked on "options" it froze.  When I went to burn CD, it crashed.  So,  I un-installed 8.0.239 and re-installed 7.2.280.

My backup files have not been deleted.  but when I click "restore library" it does nothing!  I have a floppy disk with the following files on it:
browser.jmd
playlistx.jmd
smartlists.jmd
mediafiles.jmd
registry.jmd
categories.jmd
Am I missing any files?  I've got to get the playlists & library info back!  That took me dozens of hours to compile this information - over 600 songs!  Any help is appreciated!

I haven't used MJ 7.2 in a while but here's a guess. Have you tried quitting MJ, copying those files from your floppy to
C:\Program Files\J River\Media Jukebox\Data
and restarting MJ? I think that's the right directory. There should be existing copies of many of those files there already. If not, do a search for jmd files.
