Title: Gizmo Customization
Post by: dafloydman on January 17, 2013, 05:38:43 pm
Hi all . Pretty new to JRiver and of course very exited to have such a
unparalled program that does everything related to my media.
I am using gizmo on a galaxy s3

My question is regarding the gizmo artist view.
Am i able to make the artists/albums display in list view , much like
the movies do or any android/ios music player.ideally with a-z index down one side.

With the present layout i find myself not really using gizmo as it is cumbersome to
navigate 25000 songs . I am not being ungrateful as i really love this program and
plug it to anybody who'll listen.

If the answer is no is there a paid alternative like hyperfine remote for mediamonkey.?

Thanks
Floyd

Under Artists, you should see each artist, then when you select one, you should see their albums.  You can scroll down by touching the right side, then dragging the icon.

On the server, you can customize the view you see.  It's under options for Media Network, then Advanced.

You can't change it to list view.

I should elaborate on "+1".

I would love this option.

I think the album artwork is great when seeing albums or in the Now Playing, but I would love the option to get rid of it for certain or all screens.
