This might be left of field, but is there any options to deal with camera shake? I have found Red October HQ so smooth and detailed that scenes in a number movies shot with a hand held camera have bad camera shake, which becomes very distracting when trying to watch a movie.
I know there are tools to reduce this for home recorded material, but is there anything that can be done to process HD video files?

Not in MC.
I regularly use the image stabilizer in Apple's Motion to do this, and it works quite well. I've also used Blackmagic Design's DaVinci Resolve (http://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/davinciresolve/software/) to do it (which is better, but not that much better). That wouldn't be useful for you, though. I wonder if VideoReDo has similar functionality?
