Title: Is there any way to force a sync when Sync and Recheck Sync see wrong status?
Post by: chrisjj on January 21, 2013, 04:57:34 pm
If my drive-letter device is out of sync with MC because some files have been added externally, or because I made a MJ options change such as adding "[X] Delete from handheld any files not in sync list", Sync Now wrongly says "The device '...' is fully synchronized." - even after Recheck Sync.

Is there any way to force Sync Now to actually do a sync, disregarding the wrongly-detected status - short of wiping the device?

Thanks.

The only think I've been able to do is either manually remove the incorrect files, or clear the handheld and do a full sync.

Did you try restarting MC (including closing the Library Server in the tray)?

Thanks, but that makes no difference. And I'd be somewhat dismayed if it did! :)

I see no Library Server in the tray.
