Title: How to make playlist from list of 36 albums

I recently downloaded a 36 album discography of Joe Cocker, I haven't imported the albums yet into MC17.

Is there a way to choose all the songs from these 36 albums and put them into a playlist, so I can then whittle the list down to like my favorite 30 Joe Cocker tunes.

Not seeing how to get not imported albums into a playlist, any help would be appreciated

Once you add a file to a playlist, it is imported into MC.

But don't be concerned about this.  You can include/exclude them from views.

A good way to pre-flight files is to create a staging or test area.  I have mine in M:\Testing and I exclude this directory from all views except my testing or staging views.

Then, just work on your (way too many) Joe Cocker files at your convenience.
