Title: What will MC18 do if I import exact same folder from different path ?

If I unknowingly have the same album folder in a different place on my PC and by mistake, try to import it again, what does MC18 do ?  Again, the only thing different from the first copy is the path.

A new entry in the MC database will be created, so you'll have a duplicate.

So the database has two identical sets ?

In other words, under that Artist, you will see two albums that are the exact same Album name, but the only difference is the location ?

Yes, they are two different sets of files.  MC won't use the metadata to decide to ignore importing files - this would be a real problem if it did.
