Title: about lyrics & subtitle plugin function in the MC18 Ver 106
Post by: walkfire on January 25, 2013, 01:43:42 am
Hi Everybody:
Maybe this is a mistake, but I do can not find a function to load lyrics or subtitle automaticly, I think this is a very important & cool function especially for the theatre view mode.
OK, if this func already existed,  where & how?
If this func does not release yet, I wish it can be released in some later verision, is there a established roadmap or a project plan we can look forward to?

best regards

PS: Forgive my terrible English

There's a plugin for this: http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=75967.msg514531#msg514531
I also think that JRiver has some plans for this in the future.

Subtitles for movies will work.  Select them with the On Screen Display:

@walkfire
I'm using MiniLyrics for Audio.It works as a MC Plugin.Automatically looks for lyrics in the background and supports floating lyrics on top of MC.
The only "problem".It's not freeware.

Does minilyrics save the lyrics to file-tags?

With MP3's,yes,it does.You can choose in settings where it should be saved.
If it saves tags in FLAC files,i can't say exactly,because i tagged my flac files before using MiniLyrics.

Yeah, Thanks a lot, everybody.
This is a very big help for me, I will try @MrHaugen's @JimH's & @StuckMojo's solution, these sounds enough for me, thanks!
