Hello, my SACD (and DSD) rips hang and buffer each minute. Is there a setting that can fix this?
MC last version and Win7 64.

You need a pretty fast computer for SACD to avoid buffering.
I'd recommend a JRMark of 2000 or higher. What do you get with Help > Benchmark in the program?

JRMark (version 18.0.120): 4596
It's an Intel 3770K. Reducing the frequency from 176.4 to 88.2 solved the problem. I have have only the Volume Leveling enabled in DSP.

There's really no way it's a CPU issue with that machine, unless something in the background is hogging resources.
It could be network bandwidth fighting with the audio device. You could copy the SACD to a fast drive (C:\) and see if it makes a difference.

I had the same problem. My SACD rips were made as DFF files. After loading into MC (v18) to play via Kernel using DoP packaging into a Mytek DAC (computer runs Win 8 64), the files were unorganized ("unassigned" folder) and would quit suddenly while playing.
Only after fixing the metadata tags and saving in the DSF format (tags are not stored properly in DFF format), did MC properly play the files. Once tags were fixed, the DSF files not only play well, but are properly presented in their own albums with artwork.
I edited the tags in AudioGate, which can convert formats as well as allowing modest tag edits.

I found the problem... it is the Mediaportal 1.3.0 beta. Uninstalled and no more buffering freeze (tested under win7&8 ).
My file are already in DSF, but it's good to know.
Thanks everyone for your help!
