Title: downloaded DVD won't play
Post by: JustinChase on January 25, 2013, 04:22:27 pm
I downloaded a bootleg Clash concert which was spread over 11 zip files, and contains 4 VOB's, 2 BUP's, 2 IFO's, some jpg files, a couple of txt files, and one file with an .aria2 extension.  When I unzip the first file, it unzips the whole archive into a new folder.  I can open and edit one of the txt files, but all the jpg's the other txt, and the DVD structure just refuses to open/play.

I've had 7zip verify the zips, and it says they are fine.  The unzipped files are 2.5 GB, which is correct.  I've compared sizes of the individual zips and they appear fine, but the unzipped files won't open/play.  I'm guessing there must be a tool, or something to fix them, but I'm coming up empty.

any suggestions?

fixVTS is a utility I've used that can fix some issues that can prevent DVD's from opening
