Title: Can live TV have separate video settings?
Post by: jkauff on February 01, 2013, 10:26:41 am
I'm using custom video settings based on Red October HQ, which work just fine for movies. Live TV, however, is very choppy. Does Live TV use the same video settings as movies, and if not where can I adjust them? Hauppauge WinTV 7 plays live video just fine using EVR. I'd like to see Live TV settings in Options.

Live TV does not use separate settings when run in time-shifting mode.  When not in time-shifting mode, it uses its own internal settings that are not configurable.

If you want to set up different rules for live TV playback, you can use Custom mode in video configuration.  Create a rule for jtv file.

I created a jtv rule using EVR, and it works fine. Thanks.
