I just installed Media Center 18. Everything appears to have installed correctly. The application launches, and has indexed media files. But, after running for a few minutes, sometimes just a few seconds, it crashes. I just get the report that Media Center 18 has stopped working. "A problem has caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available?
I'm running a Dell XPS with Windows 8. I can provide more details about the machine and configuration, if it would be helpful.

Did you download from jriver.com? What version are you running?
MC has logging. Please see the wiki for details.

I'm having the same issue but sometimes I can watch an entire show before it crashes. Sometimes it has crashes before I even turn on the TV when it is just sitting in Theater View. If I try to do anything else then find my place again it crashes.
I sent the log files created by MC18 to Yaobing. Is he still the person to send them to?

Please post the full version number that you're using. 18.0.128 is available at the top of this board.

Well I guess mine updated because it been working fine for a couple of days now.
