Title: Something went wrong with playback
Post by: Niloc on February 07, 2013, 09:40:56 pm
I get this error message when I put in a blu-ray movie despite having DVDFab for bluray installed. What do I do to get this up and running?

Thanks,
CB

Does it play with any other player?

No. I get a BluRay error in VLC saying that the disc needs a library for AACS decoding. In the BluRay players region section of DVDFab Paskey, only TotamMedia Theatre shows up (and has expired so I cant see whether or not it will work.

Your decrypter is not working then, so MC cannot read the disc (same as VLC).

MC does not handle encrypted BluRay content.  Unencrypted BluRay will play fine, and it will work if you have a functioning copy of something like AnyDVD (or DVDFab Passkey), but it has to be working right.

You'll need to contact DVDFab and figure out the issue there.

OK. That narrows it down. Thanks much
