Title: Hulu+ setup in theater view - Solved Feb 12th
Post by: Battledad on February 09, 2013, 11:46:22 am
I would like to access Hulu+ through theater view. I added it from the options menu so it shows in theater view. When I click it takes me to Hulu and not Hulu+

Anyone walk me thru what I need to do to get Hulu+ to launch from theater view? When I do a search in the forums I get 2009 threads but didn't find an answer.

thanks

Still trying. When I launch it goes to Hulu and the clips but not the main Hula+. Must be a way.

Is there a way to use the Hulu option in MC to get one logged into Hulu+ that anyone has found? Best I can do is get the link built into Theater view to take me to the old Hulu site with clips but not log me in. I did set up the login info in MC. Is this a coding issue and if so when can he expect it to be fixed?

Ok...since no one seemed to either use or have successfully dealt with the Hulu option in MC not working I solved the issue.

Step 1 - Don't use the Hulu option in the Theater view

Step 2 - Add a new page and make it a web address

Step 3 - Name the web page Hulu+ and type in the address www.hulu.com and save

Step 4 - Move it up or down in your tree as you see fit

Step 5 - Enter theater view, click on the Hulu+ icon/link and log in.

You are done. Now you can have a Hulu+ option in Theater view that takes you to the correct site and not the one MC wants to direct you to.
