Title: help, my digital cam photos will only open in media jukebox
Post by: Bob Johnson on April 08, 2002, 03:54:14 pm
We took photos on a sony digital camera to open as "jpeg" or "tiff" files for use in typesetting publications.  We have media jukebox on the computer and when we click on the photo, it's now a Media file and can not open in any of my applications.  How can I fix this?

The subject you're concerned with is called "file associations".  This means "which program is associated with which file type?"

You can set these in Windows, by running Windows Explorer.  It's a Microsoft support question.

Hi,

Did you try to right-click on the file, then "Open with" and point to the application you want to use to view
your picture ?

In the application you want to use : settings > file association > check JPEG and TIF formats (eventually
check "allways take control of this file type")

But anyway, it's strange : there's no file association with JPEG and TIF in MediaJukebox !

Hope it helps,
Yves.
