Title: Will Mac Version Play Video?
Post by: asdf1234 on February 13, 2013, 01:12:56 pm
Hi,

I'm extremely excited about MC Mac.  But I had two questions before I purchase the early bird special:

1) Will MC Mac ever be able to play video, preferably through Red October?  I like the higher sound quality I seem to get playing DVD's through MC

2) Will MC Mac advance to version 19 at the same time the Windows one does?  If so, will it 1) be totally stable by then and 2) have all (or nearly all) the features of the Windows version?  My main concern about being an early MC Mac adopter is that I would pay my $24.98 now, and be forced to pay to upgrade to 19 before the Mac version was completely usable/stable.

Thanks!
-Ben

You're asking for us to reveal the future, and it's not possible yet.  Sorry.  I can only say that both video and stability are important.  We don't expect you to pay twice just to get stability.

Thanks, Jim.  That's enough for me to go in on the Early Bird pricing.
I'm really excited to be able to use JRiver in OS X!
