Title: Is there a web skin?
Post by: goatherder on February 13, 2013, 02:34:05 pm
Sorry if this is answered elsewhere, but I'm wondering if I can jazz up the standard web player in j.River a tad (OK, a lot). Any options? Thanks

I'd guess he is talking about WebGizmo (http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/WebGizmo"). But my guessing wasn't that much reliable in the past... :-\

Iiiiinteresting.

I was hoping for less work (like I install a skin and shazam it's done), but if that's all there is I'll have an experiment.

Isn't it JWPlayer (http://www.longtailvideo.com/jw-player/)?

You should be able to follow their documentation and use their code examples somehow if so.  I'm pretty sure the web-based one is JWPlayer (or maybe FlowPlayer, but that'd be just too cool).

JWPlayer is a little funky, but you can do a ton with it.

No, unless I missed something in your link as I elaborated above with the yup, I was looking for ways to skin Webgizmo so that it looks less sparse / rejig the look for specific devices.
