Title: Avoiding Dupes Syncing Playlist on Android Phone w/ 16GB internal, 64GB SD Card
Post by: scm on February 16, 2013, 12:30:38 pm
I have 64GB of room to put music on the SD card, and 16GB on the phone internal memory, which Media Center recognizes as 2 devices.

I usually in the past have made a smartlist to grab a selection of my favorite songs up to the storage limit of the SD card, but if I made 2 smartlists, there would often be duplicates.  Is there any way to, perhaps, sync 1 playlist to both storage sites so that there are no redundancies?  In other words, a playlist of 80GB which would distribute the files between the SD card and internal memory?

Or some workaround to achieve something similar?

Build smartlist A that determines what is to fit on the internal memory.

Build smartlist B that determines what you want on the SDcard, then add one more rule to it using the rule wizard...
Playlists, is not any, select the first smartlist from the drop-down list

No more dupes.   :D
