I've tried many DLNA controllers on both Windows, Android and iPhone. Since I like browsing seeing thumbnails I like Linn's Kinsky on Windows and on Android Audionet:
http://www.audionet.de/main/service/audionet-amm/page.html?L=en
One odd problem with Audionet prevents me from using it. There is a bug somewhere in either Audionet or MC. I'll explain: When I view albums the tracks are shown in the wrong order. When adding an album to be played the tracks are added in this wrong order too. Why I don't now if the bug is in Audionet or MC is because:
- Audionet as controller with other DLNA server works ok
- Other controllers with MC works ok
- But just the combo of Audionet + MC messes up the track order
Is there any way to find if there's a bug on Audionet's or MC's side?
-
Hmmm.... I think I must be stoooopid. The tracks come in the wrong order with other control points too. I must have messed up my MC settings in some way. Scratching my head, going through settings and views in MC and feeling stupid.

Confused.
Kinsky control point on PC = wrong track order
Asset control point on PC = correct track order
:-\

How about Bubble UPnP?
I don't think the DLNA Server could affect this. The Controller is sending commands to the Renderer, which then requests tracks from the Server.

Kinsky control point on PC = wrong track order
Asset control point on PC = correct track order
Kinsky on Android = wrong track order
BubblePlayer on Android = wrong track order
PlugPlayer on Android = correct track order
This worked before, feels like I've messed up something but what...
-
Okay, now it's 100% for sure I've messed it up since the track order is incorrect in webgizmo....
My guess is I did something wrong with my views. Don't know what I've done though :P :-[ Will bang my head on this til it works again ::) ;D

Oooops. Solved.
A view where I want albums sorted in "date imported" should not have files sorted in "date imported" ::)
Customize view -- Settings -- Included files -- Set rules for file display -- Modify results -- No modification (at least no sort on import date here ::) ;D )
