Title: I can't make working: mc18.exe /Mode Theatre
Post by: perseepj on February 17, 2013, 10:58:57 am
Hello,
I'm new with JRiver and I like a lot
Now I would like to use some commands line in particular the Theatre view.
I typed
mc18.exe /Mode Theatre

JRiver starts in normal mode but I can't have the theatre view displayed.
Do you know what can be wrong.

Thank you in advance
Pascal Jean

You don't need special commands to start MC in Theater View.

Just check settings->Start options->Mode   (Standard View,Theater View,.....)
There you can select the view you would like to have, when you launch MC.

My thinking too, gab.

The option is not regionalized.  You have to use the US spelling for the CLI options.  All are verbatim from the wiki.

From the text look of MC you can hold the CTRL and 4 keys and theater view will launch. Doing the same or pressing ESC will exit

Thank you to all of you.
Writting
mc18.exe /Mode Theater
makes the thing working
I'll be able now to dig into other commands to make interesting scripts.

Thank you again
