Title: Compilation albums, how to group under 'albums'

Hello guys,

This is my first post. So hi there!  :) I am sorry if it has been posted before. I am totally new to this media server thingy I'm attempting to make work.

I have converted some of my itunes music to flac format and have made them into folders by album. I have imported the complete music folder into my jriver and some compilation albums are listed as multiple icons. I have tried to search for what I am looking for, but without knowing what to search for I am drawing a very frustrating blank.  ?

I was wondering if someone could give me an idiots guide to correcting this annoying problem? I wished it was as easy as selecting all the problem icons and a quick right click and telling the software its a compilation...

make sure the album and album artist tags are the same for all the songs contained inside of the album  ;)

Compilation albums need to be in the same physical folder, tracks numbered sequencially while the artist tag may vary the album artist tag needs to be set to 'Various Artists' or something similar.

It can be left empty.
