Title: PS Audio PWD Mk II
Post by: JanLeysen on February 23, 2013, 07:15:03 pm
I am using the PWD connected via ethernet to my local netwerk.
My MC version on Windows does "see" (is in hte list under Palying Now) the PWD and I can stream music to this DAC.
Hower the Mac version does not detect the PWD...
And so, I cannot stream music to this DAC.
Can someone help me?

Media network (DLNA, Library Server, etc.) is not yet working on Mac.

It's one of our highest priorities, but we don't yet know how technically difficult it will be to switch from Windows sockets to Posix / BSD sockets for the servers.

There is a bucket load of PS Audio PW dac II users that have been waiting so long for this as the PS Audio software just does not live up to what was promised. Hopefully JRiver will pull through.

Thanks for all of your hard work guys, keep it up.

Hi Matt,

I am part of the "bucketload" of PWD MKII +Mac users who was VERY excited about this release.

However, I am decidedly Old School with my 2003 G5 tower (PowerPC/10.5.8).

I read in another thread that we're outta luck with our old chips and OS.

How should I go about trying for a refund or could I bet on a future version that will work?

 ?

Def +1 on this item. Paul of PS Audio pointed me this way. Media coverage of MC is a plus , but must play over Ethernet cable for me.
