Title: a clue to what went wrong during playback.
Post by: Ron2b4 on February 23, 2013, 10:04:21 pm
For  months, how, I've had the  same  problem with Media Center 18. You can  see from the forum that users back with version 17 had the same problem. When I  begin to play an mp3 file with Media Center, I get the message "Something went wrong during playback."  Not the most helpful error message,  and through two versions  of the program there's no  evidence that  the  developers  have even tried to fix it--other  than to try to  transfer  blame  to the hardware.  But here's what  fixes it--temporarily--for me: I reinstall  Media  Center and the problem is  gone, but all to briefly.

To my simple understanding of computing, it sounds as if  some  files  are being deleted or damaged, causing the program to  fail, and that the problem is fixed  when a reinstall is applied.   Come on, guys. Get on this bug's case.  This sound  like  a  simple fix.
