Hi guys –
Each time I start the program and hit play, it opens the last.fm webpage for authorization. I guess this is because you haven't sorted out webpages in MC Mac yet and it's not setting a cookie maybe?
Micah
EDIT: maybe this is too minor to bother with right now and sorry if reporting it is like whining ;)

Yup I'm getting this too... probably need to wait a few builds...
-
Last.fm should be working next build.
-
Meh, the problem's back since the previous version. :P

When I enable "Scrobble Listening To", the last fm webpage for authorization comes up. This happens for each song until MC crashes.
I also confirmed that Last FM never actually counted any of the songs played until the crash.

In options for Services, make sure you have entered a login and password.

And remember to click 'OK' in Media Center _after_ you authorize on the website (as the message box instructs).

All the tips and a subscriptions have Last.FM working!!! Great fun! I do get a few crashes when I try to fast forward (not always but fairly often)...program shuts down and then I restart. But overall very happy!
Best,
John

I'm still having this problem. Exactly where is the options under the services and plug-in tab? I think I setup the last.fm when I first installed MR18, that was awhile back, don't recall where I setup. When the program tried to re-authorized it you use my Chrome web browser, not the built-in web browser. Every time a track plays it does.

I am also having this problem again as well with the upgrade to build 201.

...and I just noticed the 202 build, so I downloaded, updated, and re-authorized last.fm, and it works fine again. Give that a shot, Solitary1.

I now have this problem. I have never used Last.fm and DON'T WANT TO. I have had MC 16, 17, 18 and now 19 and never had this PROBLEM until yesterday.
I DON'T WANT LAST.FM so please let me know how to disable it.
Sorry to rant but I have wasted a few hours trying to fix this. I know it is something simple but... >:(

Just turn it off:
Options > Services > Last.fm > Submit playback information to Last.fm
You can also break the connection to your Last.fm account there if you like.
